Within the Global Webinar series for Family Farming in preparation for COP29, the WRF organises this first webinar to deepen the understanding of the climate finance mechanisms available, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by family farming organisations in accessing them.
This event explores science-based solutions to unlock capital for farmers, boosting resilience, food security, and equity, while addressing both adaptation and mitigation.
Local-led access to climate finance is pivotal to ensure the NCQG and L&D fund deliver for the needs of most affected communities. We highlight voices from family farmers’ organisations, their experience with the climate crisis, impact on food production, and proposals for access to climate finance.
